Rafael Molho is an international sourcing expert and the founder of TradeCoup Ltd, with over 20 years of experience in global procurement, strategic matchmaking, and cross-border trade development.

Specializing in trade-driven sourcing opportunities, he connects businesses with innovative and reliable suppliers, while fostering business connections and facilitating trade partnerships that lead to long-term strategic growth across Europe, Asia, the U.S., and emerging markets.

Rafael is actively engaged in leading international trade and policy bodies, including:

  • UNCTAD – observer and contributor to expert sessions

  • UN/CEFACT – appointed Advisory Expert on trade facilitation and digitalization

  • International Trade Council (ITC) – Former Vice Chair of the Supply Chain Business Council

  • International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – contributor to sustainable trade and SME initiatives

  • VAB & Business Forum Thessaloniki – Board Member

In his work, Rafael has consistently acted as a bridge between technical standards and policy frameworks — helping SMEs adopt UN/CEFACT recommendations and linking them with UNCTAD’s broader trade and development agenda. He believes this “translation role” is essential to ensure that global standards reach the private sector and contribute to policy implementation on the ground.

Recognized for promoting ethical sourcing, compliance automation, and ESG-driven supply chains, he bridges private-sector practice with multilateral policy frameworks ,as in 2025 received formal recognition from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) for his contributions to innovation and sustainable growth within the UN/CEFACT framework.

Currently based in Greece, Rafael manages sourcing and matchmaking projects in Greece, USA, Romania, Brazil and China, expanding TradeCoup’s role as a trusted partner in international trade.
